The Position: We are recruiting for an IT Portfolio Manager who will play a strategic role in overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of IT investments – from defining and targeting the investment mix to planning the portfolio structure - projects, asset and discovery, packaging and communicating the portfolio plan, and tracking and measuring results.
This job will have a lead role in the identification, analysis, valuation and execution of all IT investments, and would be the owner for the Portfolio Management process defined within the IT Strategy and Architecture team. Key responsibilities will require you to:
Be the Process Owner for the Project Portfolio Management process for Emirate Group IT. This would include leading the definition, development, presentation of the IT portfolio. Monitoring and reporting the status of the IT portfolio for re-balancing and re-prioritization would be an integral part of this job role.
IT Governance in the area of projects through continuous monitoring, evaluation and assessment of risk as part of the lifecycle analysis of portfolio components would be a key role. The frequency of reporting to the IT Executive team would be monthly and the Portfolio Review Board (comprising of select DSVPs, SVPs across the organisation) would be quarterly.
Drive the communication plan for Portfolio Management across the EG-IT organization and Emirates Group, as well as with appropriate external stakeholders. This would include monthly reporting to IT Executive team, quarterly reporting to the Portfolio Review Board and the yearly update to the IT Steering Board for IT budget approvals.

Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of a B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Business Administration or other relevant field (required).
- A Masters level qualification in business administration or computer science (preferred).
